Valve Orifice Sizing - Liquid Pipeline Filling
For the filling of a liquid piping system, air should be vented at the same volumetric rate as the system is being filled. This tool was developed using AWWA M51 method for sizing air releasing valve orifice during line fill operation.
Consult the available orifice sizes from suppliers and select the valve that meets both the capacity and pressure requirements of the application.
